Playing the role of Officer Eddie Souther aka “Sweaty Eddie” in Sister Act was a dream come true. I vividly remember watching from the wings from the top of the show to the end when I was not on stage and dancing to the infectious 70’s grooves with my fellow cast and crew backstage. It never got old, and I miss it dearly. I really enjoyed exploring and defining the character of Sweaty Eddie and found new parts of him with every performance. When doing a show like Sister Act, not only do you form a tight knit familiar bond with the cast and crew, but in a way, you become a part of the Sister Act family across the country and all over the world! I even had Chester Gregory, who starred in Sister Act on Broadway as Sweaty Eddie, tell me that he was proud of me. That was a moment!
